Abstract

Del 2 al 4 de marzo de 1964, la ciudad de Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala, fue sede de la tercera reunión del PCCMCA. Dicha reunión no fue solo para revisar los trabajos diseñados por el programa durante años anteriores y estudiar nuevos planes para el presente año, sino que se enfocó en revisar los progresos alcanzados durante los 10 años de vida que se llevaban trabajando cooperativamente en maíz. La tarea fue trabajar con el preciado cereal maíz, y abarcar también en su tercer año al frijol y sus problemas fitotécnicos; más tarde, se incluirían otros cultivos alimenticios.
