Guía ilustrativa de genotipos de lechuga
La lechuga, Lactuca sativa L., es una planta de la familia Asteraceae, originaria de Oriente Medio, especialmente Egipto e Irán. Es cnsiderada la especie más importante entre las hortalizas de hoja. Se consume casi exclusivamente como hortaliza fresca en ensaladas, pero algunas variedades se consumen cocidas.
La información presentada en esta hoja divulgativa se generó como una actividad del proyecto de investigación denominado “Mejoramiento de la producción de hortalizas, maíz y frijol en comunidades indígenas (Territorio Indígena de Matambú)”.
