Abstract

A structural connection device for structural elements in the form of a solid or closed section bar and of substantially circular form, typically bamboo, is characterized in that it is composed of two plates provided with various orifices or grooves for affixing additional structural elements placed in a diametrically opposing position on the outer surface of said bar, said plates being joined together by means of one or more threaded bars or bolts with the respective washers and nuts thereof, which diametrically traverse said bar through one or more holes previously made in said bar, pressing said plates against the surface of said bar. Said bolts in turn incorporate springs or a flexible connector for absorbing the dimensional variation in bamboo.
