ESTRATEGIAS DE VENTA DEL MERCADO INMOBILIARIO COSTARRICENSE:

Abstract

Para analizar la dinámica de la explotación de los recursos naturales por los diversos actores constructores del espacio urbano, específicamente del mercado inmobiliario, esta investigación analiza cómo actualmente, en un contexto de urbanismo neoliberal específicamente en Costa Rica, existe un debate constante entre el papel del Estado y los intereses del mercado para orientar las tendencias del mercado inmobiliario y del ordenamiento urbano, utilizando la naturaleza como mercadería. Se demuestra cómo desde el primer contacto con los europeos en el siglo XV y posteriormente con el auge cafetalero en la región, se ha explotado la naturaleza como mercadería para impulsar el desarrollo económico, sin embargo, los factores que en un pasado se analizaban como desventajosos para la conquista del territorio centroamericano, actualmente son aprovechados por el mercadeo inmobiliario para ofrecer un nuevo imaginario urbano y un nuevo estilo de vida en un país con una larga trayectoria de biodiversidad como lo es actualmente Costa Rica.
