Abstract

Han pasado tres años, desde el día en que Juan y María decidierontrasladarse a San José y así, reorganizar su vida. Nacieron en Masaya y ese recordado martes, el del viaje y en una condición similar a sus paisanos, traían en su mochila una pequeña carga de ropa y un poco de pinol. Pero desde su punto de vista, cargaban algo mucho más pesado: ilusiones, utopías, insatisfacciones,expectativas, contradicciones y repulsiones. La inmigración como temática es compleja, ya que puede analizarse desde muy variadas prismas. Aquí tan sólo se ofrecen unas muy pocas pinceladas,puesto que quedan al descubierto muchos otros aspectos, que denotan lo que implica migrar. Además de que “ninguna interpretación, ninguna gama de posibles acciones puede ya ser aceptada como única, verdadera e incuestionablementeadecuada” (Berger y Luckmann, 1997). Estas páginas tratan de esas personas que han traspasado una frontera político­administrativa y que han decidido, ya sea individualmente o en familia,reanudar su vida en Costa Rica. Han recomenzado en Costa Rica, personas de nacidas en otros países, pero por su número, especialmente, lo han hecho nicaragüenses.
