NUEVO ÍNDICE DE DESEMPEÑO PARA EL CONTROL SECUNDARIO DE FRECUENCIA

Abstract

Esta publicación aborda el problema de la regulación secundaria de frecuencia, de un sistema eléctrico de potencia, débilmente interconectado. Con esta finalidad, se propone un nuevo índice de desempeño, a partir de la teoría del control óptimo. Para tal fin, se consideran tres diferentes tipos de sistemas de potencia (térmicos, hidrotérmicos e hidráulicos), cuyas áreas eléctricas se encuentra débilmente vinculadas. Como criterio de análisis, el parámetro de frecuencia de cada área, es valorado después de una pequeña perturbación, para tres casos de estudio. El primer caso, considera al sistema de potencia sin regulación. En el segundo caso, se considera un índice de desempeño cuadrático tradicional, que depende de las variables de estado y de las señales de control. Finalmente, en el tercer caso, se propone un nuevo índice de desempeño cuadrático, que depende solamente de las señales de control. Los resultados obtenidos en el dominio del tiempo, son satisfactorios y efectivos, al compararse con el desempeño de un regulador cuadrático lineal tradicional. La metodología propuesta, puede aplicarse al sistema de potencia centroamericano, porque se encuentra débilmente interconectado y es análogo a los modelos analizados.
