Abstract

This article analyses the way in which the Nacional Monument promoted identity formation among late 19th Century and early 20th Century Costa Ricans. This particular monument also created changes in the political culture.

Este artículo reflexiona en la forma en que el Monumento Nacional ayudó a formar identidad entre los costarricenses, a fines del siglo XIX con una tradición al interior de la cultura política costarricense.
