Abstract

El presente documento contiene los resultados preliminares de dos estudios realizados en la subcuenca del Río Tus, Turrialba. El mismo fue planificado por el Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE), uno de los temas de investigaciónse encuentra bajoel marco del Proyecto de Caudales de Compensación, y el otro tema propuestopor el área de biología de RioCAT. Contó con el apoyo y coordinación del Programa de Voluntariado de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) y el Ministerio del Ambiente y de la Energía (MINAE). Es un estudio biológico sobre la preferencia de hábitat y rutas de migración de las especies relacionadas con el Río Tuis.
