Comunicaciones de sospecha de Enfermedades Profesionales en Andalucía. 2009-2016

Abstract

En el periodo 2009 a 2016 se han recibido 1567 Comunicaciones de sospecha de Enfermedades Profesionales (CS de EEPP), en Red Alerta, siendo aproximadamente la mitad de ellas, cursadas por personal sanitario del Sistema Sanitario Público Andaluz (SSPA) y la otra mitad por personal sanitario de Servicios de prevención de riesgos laborales (SPRL), entre ellos de las Unidades de prevención de riesgos laborales del Servicio Andaluz de Salud (SAS), que funcionan como servicios de prevención propios. En la evolución temporal de las CS de EEPP recibidas se observa cómo, tras un ascenso progresivo de 2009 a 2011, su número permanece estable. Dado que el ascenso referido se produce especialmente en Cádiz y Almería, se estima que está relacionado con la aparición de una forma grave de Silicosis por compactos de cuarzo de aparición en esos años. Posteriormente, en Almería se reduce mucho el número de CS de EEPP, mientras que, en Cádiz, se mantiene un número superior al resto de las provincias, de cualquier patología, probablemente por mayor formación del personal sanitario y mayor concienciación de los mismos. El estudio epidemiológico descriptivo de las comunicaciones de sospecha de enfermedades profesionales del período demuestra una infranotificación de las mismas y la necesidad de adoptar medidas de mejora.
