Clase invertida en docencia universitaria no presencial

Abstract

Inicialmente popularizado en educación secundaria, el uso de clase invertida ha comenzado a extenderse desde hace unos años a niveles universitarios dando muestras de su efectividad como medio para potenciar la participación de los alumnos en su proceso de aprendizaje y para conseguir una mejora de los resultados académicos. Ante la declaración del estado de alarma provocado por el covid-19, se estableció la suspensión de la actividad educativa presencial en todos los centros y niveles de enseñanza—también en la universidad— con el encargo de continuar el desempeño de las obligaciones docentes de manera remota. En este trabajo se describe una experiencia, llevada a cabo durante el período de docencia no presencial, en la que se ha hecho uso de algunos de los elementos propios de la metodología de clase invertida. La experiencia se ha realizado con alumnos matriculados en la asignatura Matemáticas I del primer curso de los grados que se imparten en la Escuela de Ingenierías Agrarias de la Universidad de Extremadura. Los resultados muestran una aceptación muy positiva del uso de estos elementos de docencia y evaluación, tanto por parte del alumnado como por parte del profesor.
