Abstract

From 21 to 25 August 2006 was held in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza, (Ceara), the XI Congresso latin-american of Medieval Philosophy, organized by the Comissão Brasileira of Medieval Philosophy. There were reasons objectives more than sufficient to justify the relevance of this congress in Brazil. Without a doubt, one of these reasons has been of commemorative nature, since there were 25 years of existence of the Brazilian commission on Medieval Philosophy, or what is the same, the success of a company intellectual enrichment and nothing easy in the field of knowledge and philosophy.
