La radio universitaria potenciadora de competencias comunicativas

Abstract

Voces U Radio System, an activity to increase communications skills. It is not new to suggest that the implementation of radio in educational spaces has contributed to the communicative development of young people and teachers in different parts of Latin America. Following these examples, the Voces U Radio System operating in UNIMINUTO Zipaquirá Regional Center, since 2017, opens as a space that promotes the foment of communication skills in students of Social Communication-Journalism. Participation in the project demands the assumption of various functions such as speakers, producers, directors, etc., beginning to promote in the participants competences that are strengthened or developed outside the classroom. We, as participants of the system, believed that this potential could be measured and demonstrated through a research that considers what and how communicative competencies are developed by comparing first to fifth semester students participating in the process, with students who are not part of the radio process. Several tools were implemented to develop the work such as: focus groups, bibliographic review, non-participant observation sheets, comparative analyzes, as well as similar tests to State tests. What we are presenting are the results obtained after the application of the same, and ¿demonstrate that not only develop communicative skills, but that the proposed work develops and strengthens comprehensive, technical, professional and personal skills.
