Ley de la salud mental: Ley 1616 de 2013. Una reflexión crítica desde el concepto de normalización de Michel Foucault.

Abstract

El presente trabajo es una investigación documental, la cual tuvo como propósito determinar las diferentes características normalizadoras inmersas en la ley 1616 de 2013 sobre salud mental en Colombia; para desarrollar esta investigación se tomó la teoría de Michel Foucault referente a la normalización; además, para la realización de este proyecto investigativo se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, de carácter documental, que utilizó la ficha bibliográfica como técnica de recolección de información y la triangulación como principal modo de analizar la información recogida. El presente trabajo concluye que la Ley 1616 de 2013 tiende a la homogenización de los individuos por medio de políticas que normalizan y despojan al sujeto de su individualidad a través de las instituciones de poder, ya que estas instituciones están atravesadas por la norma, y ella ensí misma (la norma) refiere directamente a una coerción, a una desligazón de los individuos y a ejercer a su vez un control sobre la población, determinando lo normal y anormal según el contexto.
