Abstract

Este ensayo nace de la preocupación y el interés por la literatura y su uso en las aulas de clase, preocupación que surge de la experiencia en la práctica profesional. A partir de la observación realizada en las prácticas pedagógicas en el Colegio Carlos Arturo Torres con los estudiantes de 2° de primaria, se evidencia que falta verdadero interés y una seria preparación para abordar, con honestidad y un mínimo de acierto, el ejercicio de incentivar la capacidad literaria de niños y adolescentes. Otro objetivo de este trabajo es reflexionar sobre la necesidad de una caracterización de la Literatura Infantil, no limitarse a una definición del concepto de literatura para la infancia, sino convocar a trabajar desde la misma realidad, qué obras, qué autores, qué criterios son válidos para aplicar, sin inducir a confusión, el término Literatura-Infantil. En esa medida, se busca reflexionar sobre la enseñanza de la literatura desde un espacio que posibilite el discernimiento a niños y jóvenes y la misma creación artística, estimulando a los autores y potenciando la capacidad de creatividad de los niños. Así, en un primer momento el ensayo.
