This research seeks to propose an internal control process for the accounting area based on the COSO ERM model, given that the foundation has weak procedures. The implementation of the control process will allow the identification of control weaknesses, control activities and the control environment. Finally, the necessary recommendations to mitigate risks will be proposed in order to improve the control environment for the foundation. For this purpose, a mixed and applied research is developed with a descriptive scope and a triangular approach, in order to know the weaknesses of the control environment. As a result, the foundation's procedures were found to have weaknesses, with 75% of errors in conciliatory items, as a consequence of the remote consultation implemented in recent months.
