Abstract

Agrotourism represents a dynamic strategy increasingly widespread in the Colombian territory, with various edges, products and services. The study carried out revealed the agrotourism reality of the rural area called Lagunas, in the Tequendama province in the Cundinamarca department. The methodology used is descriptive in and seeks to identify the agrotourism influence on cocoa farms in the Lagunas village and its relationship with peasant culture. Being their culture a fundamental part of its offer, and the recognition of its cultural identity which is evidenced collectively in the inhabitants of the region; but it requires greater appropriation for its conservation and shielding from the tourism effects.
