Abstract

El desarrollo de un país o región se puede medir por el tipo de infraestructura que posee, para que todos los sectores de la economía de desarrollen según el entorno global y permitan así la competitividad de dicha región o país. Entre el tipo de infraestructura que más relevante es el de vías de comunicación terrestre como las troncales, transversales, autopistas, departamentales, municipales y veredales, las que además de existir deben tener unas condiciones de rodabilidad que permitan que el tráfico vehicular circule libremente sin inconvenientes y cuyas capas de rodadura garanticen la estabilidad vehicular. Una de la maneras de hacer que este tipo de infraestructura sea lomas eficientemente posible es mejorar su capa de rodadura de tal manera sea durable en el tiempo y cuyo diseño sea acorde al servicio que va a prestar, lo cual se puede hacer mediante la aplicación de cemento asfáltico o concreto hidráulico, haciendo así que se mejore el tráfico vehicular.
