This paper presents the development of an adaptive robotic gripping system based on computer vision, implemented on a SCARA robot with 4 degrees of freedom. The system integrates image processing techniques using OpenCV and Raspberry Pi to capture, segment, and extract geometric features from objects, using Hu moments and an SVM model. Based on this information, the robot adjusts its orientation, automatically generating a gripping strategy, achieving more precise and versatile manipulation in unstructured environments. This project demonstrates the feasibility of integrating computer vision, robotics, and AI techniques into a collaborative system that can be applied in both industry and assistance scenarios.
