Abstract

El siguiente ensayo muestra la incidencia que han tenido los proyectos del Fondo nacional del cacao a en los últimos cinco años, en la agricultura Colombia en el sector del cacao apoyado en la cuota de fomento cacaotero en los municipios de San Vicente del Chucuri y el Carmen en el departamento del Santander (Colombia). A través de la Ley 67 de 1983 donde se establece una contribución obligatoria de carácter parafiscal aplicable a la producción de cacao nacional. Por otro lado, se mostrará los beneficios otorgados a los agricultores como lo son: cuidado del medio ambiente, conocimiento y mejoras de las condiciones de vida de las comunidades a través de la siembra del cacao. Mediante actividades que se orientan a la consolidación de estrategias dirigidas al progreso de la cacaocultura en Colombia, como el trabajo en equipo, con el fin de mantener unidas a las comunidades hacia una meta y con un propósito en común, con aspectos relacionados con la generación de conocimiento para la implementación de plantaciones regionales, diversificadas y adaptadas al entorno con buenas prácticas de manejo para la mitigación de malos procesos, en donde se asista para el control de las principales enfermedades y metodologías para la actualización de las cultivos, y mejoramiento de la calidad e investigación social comunitaria para el desarrollo de una cacaocultura integral e incluyente. Pues el cacao colombiano es reconocido como uno de los mejores del mundo por su excelencia en sabor y aroma, producto de una cuidadosa selección y mezcla de granos de diferentes clones adaptados a las condiciones de la geografía y a los suelos del país. Entrando en un mercado económico con oportunidades que no solo favorece al estado, sino a una sociedad vulnerable en búsqueda de oportunidades, dando como resultado la inclusión de poblaciones jóvenes, con igualdad de género a contribuir a una mejor sociedad.

The following essay shows the impact that the projects of the National Cocoa Fund have had in the last five years on agriculture in Colombia in the cocoa sector supported by the cocoa development quota in the municipalities of San Vicente del Chucuri and El Carmen in the department of Santander (Colombia). Through Law 67 of 1983, which establishes a mandatory parafiscal contribution applicable to national cocoa production. On the other hand, it will show the benefits granted to farmers such as environmental care, knowledge and improvement of living conditions of communities through the planting of cocoa. Through activities aimed at consolidating strategies for the progress of cocoa farming in Colombia, such as teamwork, in order to keep communities united towards a common goal and purpose, with aspects related to the generation of knowledge for the implementation of regional plantations, diversified and adapted to the environment with good management practices for the mitigation of bad processes, where assistance is provided for the control of major diseases and methodologies for the updating of crops, and quality improvement and community social research for the development of a comprehensive and inclusive cocoa farming. Colombian cocoa is recognized as one of the best in the world for its excellence in flavor and aroma, product of a careful selection and mixture of beans from different clones adapted to the conditions of the geography and soils of the country. Entering an economic market with opportunities that not only favors the state, but a vulnerable society in search of opportunities, resulting in the inclusion of young populations, with gender equality to contribute to a better society.
