El liderazgo efectivo en equipos interdisciplinarios del área de tecnología en empresas multinacionales después de la pandemia

Abstract

El liderazgo de equipos de trabajo nunca ha sido fácil, y si son equipos interdisciplinarios mucho menos. Los equipos interdisciplinarios se conforman por profesionales que tienen conocimientos y están especializados en diferentes campos, es decir que todos los integrantes del equipo van a tener diferentes conocimientos aun cuando trabajen por un mismo objetivo; así las cosas, es primordial tener el conocimiento suficiente para lograr liderar efectivamente estos equipos y cuando se habla de conocimiento suficiente no basta con el conocimiento empírico. Mencionado lo anterior, se ha evidenciado que luego de la pandemia del COVID 19, la forma de trabajar al igual que la forma de liderar equipos han dado un giro de 180 grados; por este motivo es menester identificar cual es el estilo de liderazgo que nos permita liderar equipos de trabajo interdisciplinarios efectivamente basados en los estilos descritos por Daniel Goleman. A continuación, se dará una base para todos los líderes que quieran liderar equipos interdisciplinarios efectivamente en empresas multinacionales del área de tecnología, para esto inicialmente se contextualizará el significado de empresa multinacional, luego se darán a conocer los estilos de liderazgo y su aplicación en estas empresas y se ahondará en cómo realizar un liderazgo efectivo en equipos interdisciplinarios en empresas multinacionales con áreas de tecnología. The leadership of work teams has never been easy, and if they are interdisciplinary teams, much less so. Interdisciplinary teams are made up of professionals who have knowledge and are specialized in different fields, that is, all team members will have different knowledge even when working for the same objective; thus, it is essential to have sufficient knowledge to effectively lead these teams and when we talk about sufficient knowledge, empirical knowledge is not enough. Having mentioned the above, it has been evident that after the COVID 19 pandemic, the way of working as well as the way of leading teams have taken a 180 degree turn; for this reason, it is necessary to identify the leadership style that allows us to lead interdisciplinary work teams effectively, based on the styles described by Daniel Goleman. Next, will provide a basis for all leaders who want to lead interdisciplinary teams effectively in multinational companies in the area of technology, for this, the meaning of a multinational company will initially be contextualized, then will be made known the leadership styles and their application in these companies, and will delve into how to perform an effective leadership in interdisciplinary teams in multinational companies with technology areas.
