Abstract

One of the concerns in the application of technologies for data capture comes from the different precision equipment in information processing; In this sense, questions are raised about the appropriate technology for capturing georeferenced data. For this reason, in the present study, a quantitative and comparative case study methodology is applied to the same processed data with the intention of verifying the appropriate technological tool in capturing georeferenced information. The case study taken provides information which allows establishing and analyzing a conventional topographic survey with digital equipment (Total Station and GNSS Equipment) and a photogrammetric survey using an RGB sensor with a drone. Likewise, the study area is defined, which is located in the department of Antioquia, in the City of Medellín, in the neighborhoods Los Balsos II, El Poblado and La Florida. The results according to the data processing through a comparison, yield information which indicates that the data capture with a drone has a high level of precision. Especialización
