Un liderazgo optimo debe contar con la capacidad de influencia y motivación sobre otras personas y grupos con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos que un individuo u organización se haya planteado previamente. Del mismo modo, es importante que este sea adaptable a los cambios que se puedan presentar a nivel interno y externo, teniendo en cuenta también las necesidades, requerimientos y deseos del entorno (Alves, 2020, p21). El mundo y la sociedad actual necesitan lideres que cuenten con la capacidad de transformar los requerimientos de las comunidades y lograr acuerdos con las otras partes involucradas que sean de mutuo beneficio y de esta manera brindar una respuesta positiva a los retos del entorno y aportar al desarrollo de la sociedad (Goleman, 2005, p109).
