Abstract

Con los avances tecnológicos la rama de la ingeniería civil y la construcción, se encuentra en un constante desarrollo de métodos y técnicas que permitan enfrentar los retos a la hora de ejecutar una obra, es aquí donde la industria 4.0 desempeña un papel importante, inicialmente no solo se trata de una implementación de herramientas digitales y tecnología, sino que consiste en optimizar y estandarizar los procesos y de esta forma, contribuir con la planificación y control durante la obra, mejorar los tiempos de ejecución y costos. La industria 4.0 se encuentra compuesta por diferentes tecnologías y en este ensayo se aborda una de estas, los gemelos digitales, que en el tema de construcción brinda amplias ventajas no solo en los procesos de planificación y diseño sino también procesos como rehabilitación o mantenimiento en un proyecto que ya existe, de esta forma se destaca la importancia que representa en la ingeniería civil estar a la vanguardia con las nuevas herramientas digitales.

With technological advances, the branch of civil engineering and construction is in a constant development of methods and techniques that can face the challenges when executing a work, this is where industry 4.0 plays an important role, initially not It is not just an implementation of digital tools and technology, but rather it consists of optimizing and standardizing processes and in this way, contributing to the planning and control of the work, improving execution times and costs. Industry 4.0 is made up of different technologies and this essay deals with one of these, digital twins, which in the field of construction provide extensive advantages not only in planning and design processes but also processes such as rehabilitation or maintenance in a building. project that already exists, thus highlighting the importance of being at the forefront of civil engineering with new digital tools.
