This article addresses leadership styles, specifically how they develop in the path of Brazilian Army officers. In this context, strategic leadership is critical for successful organizational management. Thus, the leader influences and guides his subordinates to carry out activities optimally and, therefore, obtain positive results. In the military track record, strategic leadership stands out since it has two crucial foundations: hierarchy and discipline, with the leader being responsible for leading troops and defining paths in the case of crises.
