Abstract

Para el presente ensayo y de la mano de diferentes autores y de los estándares internacionales se definirán que son los instrumentos financieros entendiendo los aspectos más básicos de estos para aplicarlos correctamente; ya que en Colombia aún existe cierto grado de recelo para utilizar estas herramientas pues las empresas Pymes los consideran dispendiosos y complejos; el objetivo final del ensayo es poder aportar el conocimiento necesario para entender los instrumentos para brindarle nuevas herramientas a las PYMES de financiamiento y cobertura en los negocios internacionales; y a través de la implementación de la NIIF 9 otorgar los lineamentos que han de seguirse para medir y revelar las situación de estos contratos de manera oportuna y reconocer a través de cada cierre el impacto que han representado estos instrumentos.

For this essay and by the hand of different authors and international standards, it will be defined that they are financial instruments, understanding the most basic aspects of these to apply them correctly; since in Colombia there is still a certain degree of suspicion to use these tools as SMEs consider them expensive and complex; The final objective of the essay is to be able to provide the necessary knowledge to understand the instruments to provide new tools to financing and coverage SMEs in international business; and through the implementation of IFRS 9 grant the guidelines to be followed to measure and disclose the status of these contracts in a timely manner and recognize through each closing the impact that these instruments have represented.
