Abstract

Mass movements have caused major catastrophes in Colombia, occupying large areas where intrinsic and external factors influence the generation of land displacements related to geomorphology, geology and soil, these being the main variables of studies that currently need area views for better processing and analysis of information, taking into account the advances of Geographic Information Systems, which in turn facilitates the processing of information from the terrain where the events take place. That is why the elaboration of this document starts from the application of software, that allow the generation of terrain models and mass removal events with inputs through photographs, locations and TIN models in order to obtain data analysis through SIG.
