Concepciones de lectura y el cambio de concepción por la participación en un programa de lectura

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir las concepciones de lectura de cuatro maestras de preescolar y el cambio que tales concepciones han sufrido después de participar en un proyecto de biblioteca (PB) en el jardín infantil donde trabajan. El acercamiento se ha hecho a través de un análisis de tipo cualitativo, para lo cual se seleccionaron estrategias que posibilitaran el análisis descriptivo-interpretativo de la historia de las docentes como lectoras. Se encontró como resultado que sus concepciones están caracterizadas Principalmente por la funcionalidad de la lectura o porque ésta se dé en un espacio placentero y constructor de identidad; cuando tales concepciones no son suficientes para explicar el contexto, sufren cambios. La forma como cada maestra concibe la lectura y sus paulatinos cambios han hecho posible acompañarlas más claramente en su proceso de lectoras, tanto en las aulas como fuera de ellas.
