La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la neurociencia cognitiva y los aspectos neuroéticos, teniendo en cuenta las implicaciones que puede tener la utilización de técnicas como las neuroimágenes en el proceso penal. De este modo surge la preocupación por la protección de la autonomía individual, de la intimidad, de la dignidad humana. Para tratar de conjurar estas inquietudes surgió la neuroética, para evitar que de alguna manera se arribe a un desbordado uso de estas técnicas, de allí han surgido conclusiones como que estas no pueden permitirse sin el consentimiento informado de la persona a la cual se le vaya a practicar este tipo de exámenes. Se investigó en este trabajo a nivel internacional e interno, la aplicación de este tipo de técnicas neurocientíficas, y su verificación frente al respeto por la dignidad humana, ya que el estudio del cerebro significa exponer lo más íntimo que tiene el ser humano. The present investigation tried to establish the relationship between neuroscientific advances, specifically in cognitive neuroscience, with the neuroethical aspects that it implies; Faced with the use of these tests in criminal proceedings, such as neuroimaging, there is concern for the protection of individual autonomy, privacy, and human dignity. To try to avert these concerns, neuroethics arose, to avoid that somehow an overflowing use of these techniques is reached, from there conclusions have emerged such as that these cannot be allowed without the informed consent of the person to whom they are going to practice these types of exams.
