Análisis de la NIC 38-activos intangibles

Abstract

Intangible assets are a type of assets characterized by being identifiable, that is, they can easily be sold, assigned, rented, disposed of or made whatever use is desired. Furthermore, intangible assets lack physical appearance. On the other hand, this type of assets must be controllable, therefore, the company must have total control or power of the asset, obtaining the economic benefits (they must not necessarily come from the income that it produces, since they can also originate from the costs that a change in technology may produce); however, the company must have the power to restrict the access of said benefits to third parties.
