Por medio del siguiente ensayo se buscará analizar y describir la historia económica que ha tenido Colombia y Perú a partir 1969, año en el cual se consolida la Comunidad Andina de Naciones como un organismo regional que busca promover el comercio integral entre los países miembro, comparándola con otro escenario económico más actual de la Alianza del Pacifico que se da en 2011 con otros países, con una finalidad similar, para lo cual se pretende hacer un breve recuento histórico, una descripción de las dos economías (la de Colombia y la de Perú) y una comparación en términos de efectividad de estos dos modelos de integración para finalmente concluir que beneficios le han aportado a estos dos países.
