La Comunidad Andina vs. la Alianza del Pacífico

Abstract

Through the following essay, we will seek to analyze and describe the economic history that Colombia and Peru have had since 1969, the year in which the Andean Community of Nations is consolidated as a regional body that seeks to promote integral trade between member countries, comparing it with another more current economic scenario of the Pacific Alliance that occurs in 2011 with other countries, with a similar purpose, for which it is intended to make a brief historical account, a description of the two economies (that of Colombia and that of Peru) and a comparison in terms of effectiveness of these two integration models to finally conclude what benefits they have brought to these two countries.
