Las Fuerzas Militares es un organismo en el cual se tiene bien definido una estructura jerárquica piramidal, en donde sus miembros con el trasegar del tiempo, conocimiento y experiencia, van desempeñándose en funciones y actividades inicialmente en nivel táctico, posterior operativo y finalmente en el estratégico, donde este último es el encargado de planear, dirigir e innovar los designios de la institución. Para poder llegar a esta instancia, las personas deben cumplir con un perfil y una preparación previa, que le permita ser parte de un equipo multidisciplinario colaborativo estratégico, en donde el recurso humano brinda un producto final apoyando al tomador de decisiones , basado en conceptos conjuntos, los cuales están sustentados en múltiples áreas y campos de conocimiento que se ven materializados en una acción unificada.
