Abstract

The following document contains an analysis of the need to implement a database for the registration and control of unmanned aircraft vehicles in Colombia, because at this time the existence of a significant amount of equipment that has an origin, operator, is identified. or unknown use, even, comparing the sales and registration figures, there are differences that reflect the operation of uncontrolled devices, being used in illegal actions that violate citizen security. At the same time, the antecedents and the Aerocivil database for the registration of drones were observed, finding vulnerabilities and factors for their optimization, in accordance with policies and strategies generated in other countries where there are important advances in the subject and which shows the contributions that this can bring to security, from the control exercised by the committed authorities and greater participation of operators through easier and more accessible registration processes.
