Abstract

Como se ha dejado de ver en este texto, la principal característica de este proceso globalizador es que no se puede detener, pues la dinámica que lo construye es principalmente externa a él. Por esta razón los estados tienen casi como única opción participar en su desarrollo, so pena de quedar rezagados a la evolución del mundo, de perder terreno en mercados externos que ya han conquistado o de colocarse en desventaja frente a la competencia con otros países que obtienen preferencias de convenios de liberación comercial. Es por eso que muchos de los países subdesarrollados han ingresado a la corriente de la mundialización de la economía, se han adherido a la OMC, han empezado a negociar tratados de libre comercio con las demás naciones, han fijado políticas de comercio enfocadas al aumento de las exportaciones, todo ello indiferentemente de compartir o no el ideal de bienestar que se induce de la liberalización de compartir o no el ideal de la liberalización total del comercio internacional o de no creer que sea posible alcanzarse
