Las NIIF ¿Una inversión o un gasto?

Abstract

The objective of this essay is through the application of a directed survey, validate the impression of the Senior Management, against the adoption and implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assess whether they perceive the process as an investment or As an expense. The final results confirmed that after just over five (5) years of starting the formal adoption and implementation process, a high percentage of Entrepreneurs still do not perceive added value in this process, they define it as an expense that will not be recovered in time ; and that beyond strictly complying with a legal obligation, there is a need to consolidate training and awareness efforts to guarantee the participation of the Directors in the process and that they understand the true spirit of IFRS: faithfully reflect the financial situation of the business and the ability to generate cash flows.
