Abstract

This paper shows the methodology used and results obtained from a study carried out on a Consumer Products company that aims to redefine the logistics network currently used, through a redistribution of logistics nodes. As the document progresses are the phases that were used to propose redistribution, including an analysis of the company's historical demand, a study of centers of gravity oriented to the physical location of its customers and the volume of purchase of them, with the above proposes scenarios of logistics networks to which from the definition, evaluation and comparison of inventory policies and transport models, is concluded in a redistribution of logistics nodes which would have a positive economic impact for the company under study.
