La presente investigación aborda la importancia y las diferentes concepciones que tienen algunos autores que hablan acerca del teletrabajo, dando a conocer los principales beneficios y desventajas que este puede llegar a tener tanto para el empleador y sus empleados. Se parte, inicialmente, de una revisión bibliográfica en donde se consultan diferentes autores que permiten ampliar la visión de los diferentes conceptos que trascienden alrededor del teletrabajo. De allí, es importante resaltar que los beneficios son mayores que sus mínimas desventajas. Luego de esta revisión y análisis de conceptos, se resaltan las características que se deben tener en cuenta para la implementación del teletrabajo y cómo estas pueden aportar, tanto a los empleadores como a los empleados. Finalmente, se concluye y se recomienda tanto al estado, a los trabajadores, y a las organizaciones los diferentes beneficios que pueden obtener al implementar y estructurar este tipo de metodologías en los diferentes ámbitos laborales.

The present research addresses the importance and different conceptions that some authors have about teleworking. It is a bibliographic review in which the authors can be consulted so that the vision of the different concepts found in telework can be broadened. It is important to highlight the fact that the benefits aregrater tan their minimal disadvantages therein. After this review and analysis of concepts, where the characteristics that must be taken into account for the implementation of teleworking and how they can contribute both to employees and employers. Finally, it is concluded and recommended both in the state, as in the workers, and in the organizations.
