Abstract

Spatial analysis is a tool that uses data, generated from the processes that occur on the earth's surface, through the application of methodologies to know the characteristics, dynamics and relationships of the elements in space, its application is intended to provide new information about the object of analysis. The present study is developed in the Department of Antioquia with the data obtained from antipersonnel mines, it is proposed to apply two methodologies, the first one related to the analysis of centrography that consists in the study of the spatial distribution of point data and the second consists of the construction of a model with ArcGis Spatial Analysis Extension tools. As a result, the regions with the highest risk due to accidents with antipersonnel mines are determined, the regions are prioritized for demining and the location of suitable areas for the construction of a victim care center is determined.
