Abstract

Corporate social responsibility seeks to generate economic growth, social development and environmental balance in companies that involve all interested parties (stakeholders); in order to be more competitive companies in the market and more recognized for their principles that generate positive impacts on the quality of life of their workers as well as in society; the fact of applying a CSR allows to strengthen the management systems, since it is based on a continuous improvement and in the PHVA cycle which makes its integration easier. Safety and health at work has been evolving constantly looking for the prevention of occupational injuries and diseases, which can be generated in the execution of the different activities for the proper functioning of the company, where a promotion is being addressed and protection of health in workers before the symptoms appear; for this reason since Act 1562 of 2012 is spoken for the first time in Colombia of a Health and Safety at Work Management System that allows a greater comprehensiveness with the different systems that a company can have between those CSR as a complement.
