Implementación de techos verdes en el Centro Comercial Palatino de Bogotá

Abstract

La expansión de las áreas urbanas genera problemas sociales, económicos y ambientales por tener altos grados de contaminación debido a la gran cantidad de personas, vehículos, construcciones viales, edificios, industrias, entre otros. La implementación de techos verdes es una nueva tecnología accesible para mejorar las condiciones de habitabilidad generando impactos positivos a los anteriores problemas mencionados; estos se utilizan para grandes beneficios a la comunidad reintegrando la cobertura que el ser humano ha desplazado por el sellamiento de los suelos; Sin embargo, se necesita compromiso de la entidad propietaria del Centro Comercial Palatino para su adaptación, instalación y mantenimiento. Este artículo se enfoca en una investigación de Estudio de Caso; en la metodología se muestra los componentes, los tipos de plantas que se pueden utilizar en las cubiertas debido al clima y las variaciones de la superficie, un ejemplo aplicativo y la aplicación de encuestas con la finalidad de conocer la opinión acerca del tema y obtener resultados. Con los datos obtenidos en las encuestas se realizó un análisis DOFA y se concluyó que se adquieren grandes beneficios para el medio ambiente, la planificación urbana y mejora la calidad de vida; siendo una buena herramienta para la gestión ambiental. The explansion of the urban áreas generates social, economic and environmental problems to have stops degrees of contamination due to the great amount of people, road vehicles, constructions, buildings, industries, among others. The implementation of Green Roofs is a new accesible technology to improve the habitability conditions generating positive impacts to the above mentioned problems; These are used for great benefits to the community restoring the coverage that the human being has displaced by the sealing of the soils; However, it needs commitment of the proprietary entity of the Centro Comercial Palatino for his adaptation, installation and maintenance. This article focuses in a Case study investigation; In the methodology shows the components, the types of plants that can be used in the covering due to the climate and the changes of the surface, an application example and the application of surveys in order to know the opinion about the subject and to obtain results. With the data obtained in the surveys made an analysis DOFA and concluded that great benefits acquire for the environment, the urban planning and improves the quality of life; being a good tool for the environmental management.
