Abstract

Este ensayo está basado en las habilidades gerenciales, en él se presenta las diferencias entre los términos habilidad y competencia, describe la misión, el entorno y las habilidades que caracterizan tanto al líder como al gerente en el ejercicio de su labor como parte de una organización. En el desarrollo del tema, basado en la investigación y la experiencia propia, se busca responder a la pregunta: ¿Cómo es posible lograr que un líder llegue a ser gerente? Al finalizar se llega a concluir que sí es posible que un líder llegue a ser un gerente y para lograrlo debe trabajar en fortalecer las habilidades que lo caracteriza como líder y adquirir y desarrollar las habilidades propias del gerente. This essay is based on managerial skills, it presents the differences between the terms skill and competence, describes the mission, environment and skills that characterize both the leader and the manager in the exercise of their work as part of an organization. In the development of the topic, based on research and own experience, seeks to answer the question: How is it possible for a leader to become a manager? At the end it is concluded that if it is possible for a leader to become a manager and to log it must work on strengthening the skills that characterize him as a leader and acquire the skills of the manager.
