Abstract

El proyecto estuvo encaminado a evaluar los resultados obtenidos al agregar tres dosificaciones diferentes (5kg/m3, 9kg/m3 y 18kg/m3) de fibras de acero Dramix RL 45_50 BN a un concreto de 21MPa; el programa experimental incluyo el ensayo de 43 especímenes (cilindros, vigas y losas) a partir de las normas técnicas colombianas: asentamiento (NTC-396), contenido de aire (NTC-1032), masa unitaria (NTC-1926), resistencia a la compresión (NTC-673), resistencia a la tensión indirecta (NTC-722), resistencia a la flexión (NTC-2871) y absorción de energía (NTC-5721). Los resultados obtenidos, se compararon con las fórmulas existentes para hallar absorción de energía (tenacidad), analizando el comportamiento de las placas de concreto con el fin de determinar si las dosificaciones utilizadas de fibras de acero pueden igualar el desempeño de la malla electro soldada, y con ello evaluar el cambio de refuerzo principal de la malla electro soldada por las fibras de acero. The project was aimed at evaluating the results obtained by adding three different dosages (5kg / m3, 9kg / m3 and 18kg / m3) of Dramix RL 45_50 BN steel fibers to a 21MPa concrete; The experimental program included the testing of 43 specimens (cylinders, beams and slabs) from Colombian technical standards: slump (NTC-396), air content (NTC-1032), unit mass (NTC-1926) compressive strength (NTC-673), indirect tensile strength (NTC-722), flexural strength (NTC-2871) and energy absorption (NTC-5721). The obtained results were compared with the existing equations to find energy absorption (toughness), analyzing the behavior of the concrete plates in order to determine if the dosages used of steel fibers can match the performance of the welded wire reinforcement, and thereby evaluate if it is possible to replace the welded wire reinforcement by the steel fibers as a main reinforcement as well.
