Abstract

The study of the economic behavior of Colombia in the face of the challenges posed by the post-conflict scenario concentrates different actors in this important sector of society, including SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises). It is established that SMEs represent 99.9% of the total of companies in Colombia, about 1.6 million business units (Money, 2015). Hence the relevance of knowing the difficulties and challenges faced by SMEs in the current and future economic scenario, also understanding the dynamics that can be generated in Colombia during the implementation process of the agreements signed between the government and the guerrilla of the FARC-EP. In this sense the present argumentative essay tries to relate the difficulties and challenges that within the economic scope in the future could face the SMEs in a scenario of postconflict.
