Abstract

One of the phenomena that is most present in the savannah of Bogota, due to the exploitation of groundwater, is that of subsidence that in this case is presented in the silty-loamy clay soils that, when the percentage of natural moisture decreases, are cracked Which generate a decrease in the load capacity. To counteract this phenomenon and after many failed designs, sections of test and constructions that did not exceed two years of use, for approximately 20 years, due to its high functionality, ease at the time of construction and low costs, have been used In the ways of the Savannah of Bogota the simple palisation method.
