Abstract

Inclusive businesses (NI) are an advanced initiative of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that seeks to contribute to sustainable economic development through the inclusion of low-income or vulnerable communities in the market, as part of the supply: Adhering to the productive chain or demand: giving them access to products or services that due to budgetary constraints were impossible to achieve. CSR has been an issue that has been on the academia's agenda given the need to create mechanisms to link companies with the reduction of social impact created by capitalism. Colombia, being a country with such high levels of poverty and misery, requires a joint effort by companies, the government, the international community and citizens to improve the social conditions of their citizens. The present document looks for a descriptive research, to show the evolution and importance that the CSR and exactly the IB for the Local Development, starting from the thesis that BI could be a viable strategy for the improvement of the current conditions Of the textile and clothing sector in Colombia. The paper will be developed starting with the conceptualizations of CSR and Local Development, followed by a brief analysis of the Colombian textile situation and the conceptualization and contextualization of Inclusive Business for Colombia; Then the use of MSMEs as IB for the textile sector will be proposed, concluding with relevant conclusions
