Abstract

Due to the high degree of contamination that has occurred in The Lake Tota and seeking to implement tools that allow adequate monitoring of this situation, the present study was developed using techniques of Remote Sensing, with the objective of determining the changes in the spectral signature of the lake for the period between 2000 and 2016. For its development were used images Landsat 7 ETM, ALOS AVNIR-2 and Landsat 8 OLI / TIRS, taken in the defined dates, which were treated with digital processing techniques of Images, to finally get the spectral signature of ten sample points, distributed around the lake.
