Abstract

The growing concern about the adverse effects of climate change on the lifestyle of man have caused that a large number of public and private entities in the world has interested in studying different variable and alternative energy resources. This project deals with the study of the solar resource by modeling one of its components (heliophany) over a sustained period of time in the department of Valle del Cauca, for this method of geostatistical interpolation Krigging used using ArcGIS software and its extension geoestatistical analyst. Finally the results are presented through annual maps identifying changes in behavior.
