Abstract

El siguiente ensayo académico, tiene como objetivo, dar a conocer los principales conceptos que se tuvieron en cuenta, en el momento de crear la Unidad de Información y Análisis financiero (UIAF) en la república de Colombia, para ello, se realiza una descripción de los hechos históricos que marcaron la conformación del grupo de acción financiera internacional ( GAFI), principal organismo internacional, el cual genera pautas o recomendaciones de tipo global, para la lucha contra el lavado de activos en el mundo; Definidas como las 40 recomendaciones del grupo en el año 1990, con esto se realiza la concatenación de la emisión de estas recomendaciones y su influencia directa en la política anti lavados de activos y financiación del terrorismo en Colombia. The following academic essay, aims, to publicize the main concepts that were considered, at the time of creating the unit of research and financial analysis (UIAF) in the Republic of Colombia, to do so, is a description of historical facts that marked the formation of the Group of international financial action (GAFI), the main international agency, which produces guidelines or recommendations of global, for the fight against money laundering in the world; Defined as the 40 recommendations of the group in 1990, this is the concatenation of the issuance of these recommendations and their direct influence on the policy anti washed of assets and financing terrorism in Colombia.
