Security badge for officers of the armed forces in Colombia is a crucial need; due to internal conflict, therefore, have been established and structured different security schemes through the General Command of the Armed Forces, with the support of the National Police. La seguridad para los oficiales de insignia de las fuerzas armadas en Colombia es una necesidad de importancia capital; debido al conflicto interno, por esta razón, se han establecido y estructurado diferentes esquemas de seguridad por intermedio del Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares, con el apoyo de la Policía Nacional. En este sentido, a través del presente escrito realizaré un análisis detallado del nivel de riesgo para los señores Generales o Almirantes, identificando las fallas de seguridad presentadas en los atentados terroristas contra las autoridades militares a través de la historia, describiré las técnicas de protección de personajes ilustres, evaluando la importancia de las técnicas de seguridad durante los desplazamientos motorizados en Colombia y por ultimo plantearé propuestas con recomendaciones para los esquemas de seguridad, según su nivel de riesgo personal de acuerdo a su grado, cargo y su prestigio personal por logros obtenidos contra la amenaza terrorista.
