Abstract

Sustainability is a way to optimize the resources is counted in any employment scenario; in this document explain about in the metalmechanic sector. In this industrial, can emonstrate the lack of optimization of resources and commitment to the environment and humans. The metalmechanic sector is basically responsible for the steel industry, which is esponsible for making tools and industrial machinery repairs , this sector for its rustic activity tends to neglect and forget optimize resources, to focus more on their business activity ; to get to make deliveries on time, requires a supply chain that supports the entire process of production and recruitment of the product, ie to deliver all that is needed for the production of an order at the time that required. Displaying the supply chain , we find that there are several resources that are not 100 % of what should be used , so that if we incorporate a sustainable model to the chain, help to optimize the human, technological , environmental resources , economic and social to be more competitive in society and contribute to preserving the environment.
