Desinfección de agua residual hospitalaria aplicando ozono, ozono/UV y UV

Abstract

In this investigation was evaluated the efficiency in the inactivation of the bacteria Escherichiacoli present in wastewaters hospitals using ozone, ozone / UV combination and UV. The ozone dose applied was 0.13 ± 0.04 mgO3 and UV dose was 381.971 mWs/cm2 for a contact time of 60 minutes. Additionally constant was determined using models disinfection Chick-Watson and Hom. The results showed that the ozone / UV combination was the more effective, reaching values of 4 Log inactivation. In relation to models used the best fit is Hom with R2 greater than 0.97 in all cases.
